Manipal, June 7, 2026: Christ Church, Manipal, joyfully inaugurated the Catechism Academic Year 2026–27 on Sunday, June 7, 2026, with a solemn Eucharistic Celebration, marking the beginning of another year dedicated to the faith formation of children and young parishioners.
The inauguration brought together catechism students, parents, teachers, and parishioners in an atmosphere of prayer, joy, and commitment. The celebration emphasized the vital role of Christian education in nurturing children to grow in faith, values, and discipleship.
During the Holy Mass, special prayers were offered for all catechism students, teachers, and parents as they embarked on the new academic year. The catechism teachers renewed their commitment to guiding the children in their spiritual journey, while parents reaffirmed their responsibility as the primary educators of faith within their families.
In his message, the Parish Priest encouraged the children to actively participate in catechism classes and deepen their relationship with Christ through regular prayer, the sacraments, and the study of God’s Word.
