Women’s Organization

The Women’s Organization of Christ Church, Manipal, was founded on March 2, 2014, in the presence of Rev. Fr. Reginald Pinto, Director of Sampada, Udupi, with the mission of fostering spiritual growth, empowering women and strengthening families within the parish community. The group currently has 36 active members and meets on the third Sunday of every month after the 8:00 am Mass in the Church Conference Hall, under the guidance of the Spiritual Director and Parish Priest.

The organization promotes leadership, social awareness and solidarity through seminars, training programs and family development initiatives. It supports self-help groups, encouraging financial independence and actively participates in diocesan events, cultural programs and social causes. The members also celebrate various events such as the International Women’s Day (March) and Aati Food Fest (July) every year. Rooted in Gospel values, the organization’s mission emphasizes human dignity, equality and inclusivity, aiming to build a just society. Through education and community service, the organization continues to uphold its vision of service, empowerment and unity.
