Monthi Fest Celebrated with Joy and Community Spirit at Christ Church, Manipal

Christ Church, Manipal, celebrated Monthi Fest – the Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary – with great joy, devotion, and a strong spirit of togetherness on Tuesday, 8 September 2026.

The celebration brought together parishioners and families to honour Mother Mary and to cherish the rich traditions associated with Monthi Fest, a feast that holds a special place in the hearts of the Konkani Catholic community. The occasion beautifully reflected the values of faith, gratitude, family unity, and sharing.

The community celebrations began at 5.00 p.m. with a warm welcome and refreshments. Parishioners then came together for an evening filled with fellowship and a variety of entertainment programmes, creating a lively and festive atmosphere.
